Graduate Intern

Have you ever wondered, how did I get here, why do I feel this way, and how do I get unstuck? Well, let’s talk about it! As someone whose life has been completely changed by counseling, it would be a privilege to walk alongside you to help you experience the same. I believe as a society, we often lack empathy and self-awareness and I am on a pursuit to change that, one personal connection at a time. I also strongly believe in the importance of self-compassion, rest, and laughter- aspects our culture also struggles greatly with.

These traits often lead to unintentionally hurting others and even moreso, ourselves. Because of this, I am very passionate about acknowledging the pain and struggles of others, while also empowering them through increasing self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-confidence. Receiving true empathy and a lack of judgement has given me the ability to understand not only how we all need this, but how to graciously give it to others.

I am convinced that you are capable of making the changes in your life you want to see, as I have witnessed them in my own life and the lives of others. I would be honored to be a source of encouragement and an outside perspective to help you make positive changes and meet your personal goals whether it be how you view yourself, relationships with others, or how you perceive the world.

I carry a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri- St. Louis and am currently pursuing my Master of Arts degree in Counseling through Missouri Baptist University.

My current counseling approach is person-centered, meaning we work together to tailor our approach to how you can best succeed. I look forward to meeting you to hear your story and so we can explore ways to make your life better!
